Ecco la lista completa dei candidati agli Oscar 2014:
prima di tutto un sospiro di sollievo, Leonardo DiCaprio e Michael Fassbender sono riusciti ad entrare tra i candidati dopo anni di assenze indecenti...'American Hustle' e 'Gravity' con 10 candidature guidano la lista dei 9 film selezionati come Miglior Pellicola del 2014, segue con 9 nominees '12 Anni Schiavo', poi 'Captain Phillips', 'Nebraska' e 'Dallas Buyers Club' con sei candidature, 'Her', 'The Wolf of Wall Street' con cinque e 'Philomena' con quattro.
Tre candidature per 'Lo Hobbit: la Desolazione di Smaug' e 'Blue Jasmine'
Tra gli esclusi: 'Rush', 'Fruitvale Station' e 'I Segreti di Osage County' ma anche 'Saving Mr.Banks e 'A Proposito di Davis' dei Coen. 'La Grande Bellezza' di Paolo Sorrentino centra la nomination per il miglior film straniero, non vinciamo dai tempi di 'La Vita è Bella' di Roberto Benigni.
Tra i cartoni fa piacere vedere 'Frozen' e The Wind Rises', tra gli esclusi spicca 'Monsters University'.
